My deposit funds were removed from my credit card but are not in my gaming account. What happened?

Depositing by credit card requires two steps:

  1. Pre-authorization
  2. Post-authorization

In 'Step 1' your bank confirms the funds are available and sets them aside for us.  

In 'Step 2' we complete the deposit and receive the funds.

If the deposit fails before 'Step 2', we never take the funds.  However, your bank may still have the funds set aside for us.  With most banks this pre-authorization will fall off in 24-48 hours and the funds are returned to your card.

If you made your deposit online you can also try to resolve the pre-authorization on your account by following the steps below:

 

  • Go to the 'Cashier History' tab in the My Account area of the site.
  • Find the deposit attempt in question.
  • If there is the option to either confirm or cancel the deposit, click on 'Confirm'.
  • Check your account balance to see if the funds have been added.
